Kim Finklestein, MPT,

opened POSTUREWORKS in 2002 in Santa Monica with a vision to adopt the best physical therapy techniques from Europe and the U.S. to shepherd clients to their optimal health.

After decades of treating elite athletes and regular people held back by pain or injury, Kim has drawn together an enthusiastic and highly-trained staff as well as the latest physical therapy techniques from Norway, France, Germany and the U.S. so POSTUREWORKS patients see results.

In addition to her graduate-level Physical Therapy background, Kim is trained in Pilates, Redcord, Yoga and Gyrotonics and PostureWorks is one of the first facilities on the West Coast to introduce Redcord, a revolutionary injury prevention and performance training technique.

After completing her BS from UCLA, Kim worked at premier P.T. clinics such as Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Southern California, specializing in pre and post-operative orthopedic injuries for the general population. After earning a Masters degree from USC, Kim worked at Cedars-Sinai Hospital where she treated inpatients for all their post-operative care. She spent the next decade working at Cedars, U.C.L.A. and St. John’s Hospitals in Neurological Rehabilitation and Outpatient Orthopedics, working closely with Neurologists, Orthopedists and Pain Management physicians.

Valerie Andrizzi

Valerie Andrizzi, DPT

Valerie believes the best care comes from understanding all processes of the human body; she applies a holistic approach in the treatment of her patients. Valerie completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mount St. Mary’s College and a Bachelor in Kinesiology Human Movement Science from California State University Northridge. Valerie holds additional certification in Pilates, Visceral Manipulation, Integrative Manual Therapy and Neurac. She has worked in a variety of different specialty settings including: aquatic therapy, burn care, wound care, chronic pain and dance rehabilitation. Her treatment approach uses a combination of traditional physical therapy and alternative therapies.

Elizabeth Myers

Elizabeth Myers, Pilates & Yoga Instructor,

Elizabetg utilizes her extensive background in movement to improve each client’s posture, strength and flexibility. Elizabeth is educated in both Classical and rehabilitative Pilates.  Elizabeth began practicing Pilates in 1996 as a dance major at the University of California, Irvine. She then proceeded to dance professionally in Los Angeles, working in TV, film, industrials, concerts and commercials. Over the next decade she continued practicing Pilates, remaining injury free and sharing her love for dance though teaching dance to children.


Elizabeth completed the Comprehensive Pilates Instructor Training Program in 2005 and has since become a Balanced Body Faculty Instructor and an Instructor Trainer. In addition, Elizabeth is a devoted student and teacher of yoga.

Natalie Imrisek, MSPT, CSCS,

Natalie is a physical therapist specializing in manual therapy, dance medicine, and pilates-based rehabilitation. She received her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2003. She has several years of experience working with many leading dance companies in New York City, Broadway and Off-Broadway performers. She has lectured for companies on injury prevention and rake seminars. 


She relocated to Los Angeles, CA in 2012 where she was the physical therapist for the tour of FELA! Touring companies she has provided on-site physical therapy services include Lucinda Childs and Royal New Zeland Ballet. She currently provides on-site services for Westside Ballet Academy and is the treating physical therapist for Barak Ballet.

Natalie is currently pursuing her manually therapy certification through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and Cranio-Sacral Therapy Certification with Upledger Institute.

Jennifer McCauley, DPT, OCS, PMA-CPT

Jennifer hails from San Diego, California and is the newest physical therapist to the PostureWorks team.  She specializes in orthopedics, sports therapy, women’s health, and pilates-based rehabilitation. Jennifer graduated from Mount St. Mary’s College in 2008 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy Degree and became a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2012. Jennifer received her pilates training through Polestar Pilates and is a certified instructor through Pilates Method Alliance (PMA), the governing body of Pilates. 

Jennifer has worked in a variety of outpatient orthopedic and sports clinic in both Los Angeles and Washington DC.  Jennifer was adjunct faculty in Marymount University’s Physical Therapy Program and has conducted research examining the utilization of Reformer-Based Pilates in the treatment on Stress Urinary Incontinence.    Jennifer is a proud member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Orthopedic and Women’s Health Section, and Pilates Method Alliance (PMA).

Keely Ahrold

Born and raised in Laguna Niguel CA, Keely was accepted to the South Orange County School of the Arts at Dana Hills High School with a focus in dance. After high school she continued her dance career at the University of Colorado, Boulder receiving a BA in Dance. Alongside her first degree she also received her BA in Integrative Physiology. Keely started as a Physical Therapy aide at Postureworks after moving to the West Side in April 2014. She is a certified Cardio Barre instructor, as well as A Redcord Trainer. Keely is now in the process of applying to Physical Therapy school for the Fall of 2016.
